      Helpful Spreadsheet with compressor maps

I made this spreadsheet up from info supplied on another site. I made it up to help me, and improve my excel skills, but I figure it might help someone.

It takes inputs of Engine CID, number of turbos, ambient air temp, engine volumetric efficiency, and adiabatic efficiency of the turbo (typically around .7-.75).
you also have to input a desired boost level for each RPM point, in 500 rpm increments.
It outputs desired flowrates and pressure ratios for kg/s, lb/min and cfm.
      also shows a few graphs

      enjoy

Cool, I'll reload Excel (new guts in my old box) and check it out.

      Thanks,

      Jim

well if you know how to edit photos (just cropping them), and you can use excel, you can modify a picture of a compressor map, crop it so the the max pressure ratio and max flowrate are the same as that of the graph you made, you can apply it as the background of the graph and vioula(sp?), it's overlayed directly on the map of the turbo ur looking at.
I've been playing with it a lot. it's almost too fun if excel is fun for you
