where/how to mount battery cutoff switch?

I know, close to the battery, especiall if it is mounted in the trunk. But did you add some kind of bracket/ plate or what to mount it on? Pics please.

      Thanks

On my MonzaI simply mounted it in the rear urethane "bumper" .
I would actually use one with a remote rode so as to keep it protectedfrom weather as mine finally froze up and it was a Cole-Hearse switch in a Painless kit.
I believe Pianless and Flaming river have remote mounted ones and all oyu have is a small knob or button showing.
Since I work in a Truck and atuo shop i am going to have a custom brass/gold insert in he knob and then epoxy over it or glue in some lexan.
Since my car is going to be autocrossed and drag raced it will need one anyway.
      Good luck.

I like the remote ones as well. Make sure to put a big fuse after the unit to the fuse panel for safety. Then you can mount the remote toggle switch anywhere you want in the car.

On the 69 camaro, I ran a fuel cell so that I had to pop the trunk to fill. The stock place was behind the fold down rear license plate bracket. I fabbed a panel to hold the on/off batt swith that mounted just behind the license plate. This was a cool little trick that hid it and I would just pull the plate bracket off when I ran at the track. Good luck!

I was just thinking the same thing for my 67 'Bird. Do you have any issues passing tech with the kill switch that low on the car?? My plan would be to hid it behind my tag and just remove the tag at the track.
