69 disk spindles are nothing but drum spindles with the upper mounting boss milled down some. Since you're already looking to get a custom bracket to mount them, you might contact whoever you're getting the brackets from to see what they suggest.

      ls1 brakes

I just got done with this mod on a first gen if you want to drop me an email I will send you some pics and some templates that I made for the front and back. I cut them out with a torch and finished them with a bench grinder they worked great and did not cost hardly anything to make. If you dont count the time and the 3 trial brackets I made before I got the templates exactly as I wanted.

Use the drum hub, and some 1/4 inch steel to make the bracket, but then you'll need to make a spacer, the rears should be bolt on, remove the backing plate, and bolt on the e-brake backing plate,

From what I've heard you need to right hand caliper brackets to reverse the the caliper for staggerd shock clearance, someone else should be able to chime in on this,

Buy it, the backs just bolt on and then the caliper bracket bolts to the e-brake backing plate,

the hub go's on the spindle just fine,

You remove the entire drum assembly, including the backing plate and install the e-brake backing plate from the LS assembly and bolt the caliper to that.

the E-brake backing plate has/holds smaller shoes that when expanded are like the drum brakes that your going to remove, lock up the rear rotor,

the inside of the rotor looks like the inside of the drum, when the e-brake is activated the shoes push out ward into the drum, which causes no movement, it bolts on to the rear end housing alot like the drum brake backing plate

Do you need two right hand calipers with staggered shocks?

Where are you with your rear conversion?
