      new guy on the board

      hi everyone.
      i'm new to the site and figured i would take a moment and introduce myself.my name is Jon and i'm 35.live in sacramento ca. i bought a 69 firebird project car a couple weeks ago for $2000.last weekend i got a donor 98 formula for $3000.
      and now my life story.incase anyone cares.

      my first car was a 79 camaro.sold it and bought a 66 chevelle w/6cylinder,which i took out and put in a 396.then after only a few months of having the motor in,i got hit buy a drunk driver and the car got wrecked pretty bad.got the insurance money,bought the chevelle back from the insurance co. and took the rest and bought a 66 nova.another straight 6.drove the nova for about a year and decided to sell it,buy a cheap truck,and pro street the chevelle.got about half way through the prostreet project and the motor in the truck went out.so i had to sell my 396 to fix the truck.not long after i sold the chevelle.
      then i went on a 4x4 kick for awhile and about 8 years ago i got the itch for a car again and bought a 95 ta.drove that from 1998-2002 and then traded it in for a 2002 ta firehawk.ended up selling the hawk last summer and regret it everyday.ijust didn't want to have to deal with the smog when it came time.thats why i got the 69 bird.i can do what i want and not have to worry about smog.
      i'll be posting pics of my 2 cars in a few days,so keep a look out if your interested
