      Noob...

I've been a member for a while, but have only visited the site a few times. Now I have a new project & I have found myself browsing the Pro Touring forums. I have seen a few nice rides in the projects portion of the site, as well as some nice rides throughout the rest of the site.

My new project is a 1966 GTO. I plan on doing a "Pro Resto" style restoration on the car. I want to keep the car basically stock appearing with the exception of ride height & 17" or 18" wheels. The car is in excellent condition, but needs alot of work. I plan on driving it this summer (2007), but I do not plan on "finishing" the car immediately. I want to enjoy it for a summer or two, since financial reasons will keep me from completely finishing it in a few months.
You can see more about the car here: www.akvalley.net/~ss/1966GTO.html

My other ride is a 1990 Chevy 454SS truck that I have had since 1991. I bought it completely stock, and have done 90% of the work myself. It has a 505 hp EFI'd 461ci BBC with a T56 6speed. The truck is a blast to drive. I did Hot Rod's Power Tour 2002, & I plan on doing the 2997 Power Tour with it, too.

      That's my story...
