F-Bomb Camaro.

I just flipped through the most recent issue of Hot Rod, anyone else had a chance to see this F-Bomb Camaro that Frieburger did? I might get flamed for this but I gotta admit it, I like the damn thing. I still have a place in my heart for bracket cars with 9 to 10 inch slicks on the back. When they get tubbed is were I lose interest. I mean, it's nowhere near as cool as "Penny" is (not many cars are) but it's a great design theme and concept. It really turned out nice. And it's not often that I have anything positive to say about what's in Hot Rod. LOL!!!

Anyone else like it?

that thing is awsome the paint nowadays is flashy and he went with flat green and flat black!! its not tubbed and not over done.

That is one monster machine, I really love the theme, maybe I'll build one with that look someday. I can't wait until they actually get it out and land speed test it and whatnot.

I love the car. I think it is done just right...not over done. I have always been a fan of the flat paints. I don't find many things in Hot Rod that I like, but this is definatly one I do like.

I like the car, it looks very nice. But why do I always feel like Hot Rod is shoving the "next great thing" down my throat? Vans, Pro Street, Bikes, Gassers, etc. Everytime Hot Rod does something, it just comes off a little forced.

i like the car alot..which part of the build did Freiburger do? Nelson built the motor and other shops did the work from what I read. If you read Hot Rod at all, Freiburger always says he cant get any project finished.

Looks cool and has brawn to back it up. I don't like drag only cars, but the article says they will tweak the suspension and pro-tour it also.

I just can't understand why any car guy wouldn't like Hot Rod Magazine and buy it at the cheap subscription price. It has been an outstanding magazine for the last few years to me...but I like all kinds of cars..with maybe the exception of pro street..i just don't get that pro street stuff..I like the variety Hot Rod offers..

To be honest with you, I don't like the newer format. I had a subscription to Hot Rod for about 8 years through the late 80's and early 90's. I do like the variety, that is why I will pick it up every so often, if there is a really good article, for instance, F-Bomb. However, I got away from it b/c all of the new stuff they were showing and writting about, if I wanted that I would pick up a GM Performance or Autotrend mag or something like that. I just prefer to read PHR, Super Rod, Street Rod Builder & some of the old skool Rod magazines. I also pick up the occasional bike mag, mainly for the paint/color ideas.
