the Full Ride Chevelle is in my garage!!!

I took delivery of the car on Thursday night but couldn't drive it until Friday. I could not be happier. The car looks fantastic, feels rock solid, and runs like a scalded cat! I was doubly lucky because the roads in Richmond have been salt-free all winter and the weather was warm and dry all weekend.
      First impressions:
The LS7 motor is an absolute ANIMAL. It will liqueify the 295 series Goodyear F1s at will. Power delivery is very linear. In overdrive at 2k rpms it's a kitten. Superbly streetable. And such a blast to drive.
The builder, Sean Hyland Motorsport in Toronto, did an amazing job in such a short time. Fit and finish is wonderful, paint is gorgeous, a ton of well thought out custom touches, it's awesome.
optima batteries has been so great. They have gone above and beyond to make me a part of the experience and ensure my desires are met. And not to mention that their batteries are absolutely the best you can buy (or win!).
If anyone is interested, the car makes its marketing debut in the April issue of StreetRodder Magazine.
Last, but not least, I want to once again thank the members of PT for all the votes. I can't wait to shake a lot of hands as the car gets shown this year and beyond.
And of course, pics and video are attached

That's awesome! I had Hyland do some work on my Mustang Cobra a few years back. He does great work. Congrats on the new ride. It's beautiful.

Yes, the entire build was done by Sean Hyland Motorsport. Pics here: http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/full_ride.shtml

As far as suspension mods, the vehicle has a full Hotchkis TVS system and Bilstein shocks. I'm not 100% sure what the springs are but I know it required some thought. With the all aluminum smallblock and aluminum radiator, the front of the car is much lighter than your average 'Velle.

That is one sick ride - gorgeous car. Since my 70 Chevelle didn't get in I voted for yours.

That LS7 is a beautiful motor, I been thinking of putting it in a 69 Camaro I am currently building. Do you have any idea who made the billet pulley system on your motor? I had not found one I liked and that is one reason I haven't decided on the engine yet.

Did they have to replace a lot of sheet metal in the roof? Is the writing on the side of the car permanent? Congrats on a once in a lifetime experience.

No one makes a repop roof panel that I'm aware of. Time was also a factor to completely fab up a new one

I believe you have featured this car here before? Maybe six months ago? Is it the engine thats new? Did you also lower the car? I can't tell from your current pic. Nice ride. Any other upgrades or changes forthcoming?

No, I posted up the first pics when the car was unveiled at SEMA. This post was based on the fact that the car was delivered to me this past weekend and my first impressions on driving it, etc. No major changes or upgrades until the sponsorship period is over in one year.
