Firing order!
I just changed my cap and rotor. Like an idiot I took off all of the wires from the old cap. Where is the number 1 wire go on the cap. I got the firing order, I just need to know where to start. Is it 11 o'clock. Thanks! Sorry for the basic question!

Pul out the driveers side front plug.
put your finger over the hole.
bump the engine over till you feel it coming up.
turn the crank clockwise the rest of the wayt to line up TDC on the balancer.
Pull off the cap and see where it was lined up at.
somone could have lined up number one anywhere.
Dist turns clockwise
firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Drivers side front to back is 1-3-5-7
passenger side is front to back 2-4-6-8
of course this is sb and bb chev69 Camaro

Got it going. Thanks! With all the cranking and no firing do you think I screwed up the spark plugs? The car is runing good, just want to make sure.
