      Software For Susp. Designing

Does anyone know of a source for down loadable models
      of suspension systems?
Something a person could actually manipulate instead of drawing all aspects from scratch.
I know there are a few systems that let you plug in your info and evaluate what you have.
Solidworks compatible would be cool, but I would consider anything.

I have Performance Trends "Suspension Analyzer" the program is available for download and has a trial period of 10 days before it conks out. If you like it, you pay and get an unlock code particular to your computer.
It comes with quite a fiew sample suspensions but no Camaros, I have a Camaro file if you need that. My dimensions are not exactly correct but pretty close. I need to go back and get new dimensions with the car aligned to zero caster/camber.

I can't upload it here, it says "invalid file" when I try.

Try putting it in a .zip file. That is a valid file type for uploading.

How do I do that in windows XP? I normally use a Mac, but have a PC laptop for Windows programs. I just never zipped a file on it before.

If your a mac guy you've probably used stuffit or something like that. WinZip on a PC works the same: drag a file to .zip folder. You can download WinZip at:
      http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000...-10003164.html.
After installing WinZip you can just right-click on a file and say "send to Zipped(compressed) folder".

David, right click the file-->send to--->compressed (zipped) folder.

It should create the file in the same directory. Windows XP has a built in file compressor.
