Mike,like Northern Goat mentioned as i was curious myself did that tampon technique really work on that BMW or was that a crock?i find it hard to beleive a freakin tampon will seal a radiator.

Rich here, thats what they did, it held for a little while, but then I think they JB Welded it. The show is heavily edited, there was simply too much footage; to show everything would take years, so things looks contrived but they are not; just made to fit in the time allotted.

We had three cameras in each car and each car had at camera crew following as well, and when we arrived at the end of each leg there was about a 100 cameras at all times, it was nuts.
