I just picked this baby up on Friday, it will be the centerpiece in my engine bay.

I would if this were a coupe, but I'm only shooting for 550-600 rwhp on motor alone, pump gas. It needs to be street friendly for Power Tour 2008 and not twist my convertible chassis in half

Price was around $4K. A lot of custom CNC programming and fab work.

Definitely! I like the milling marks on them. I'll probably zoop-seal the intake to keep it shiny, and have the lid polished.

What a nice piece Tony. The LS7 is a awesome motor to begin with and its going to be just amazing with that beautiful intake but, $4k for an intake!!! No one said this hobby was cheap.

I saw this on LS1tech. Beautiful piece lots of great fab going on there. I still can't seem to justify the cost of that over an ITB setup considering a good ITB will outflow it big time and allow the use of a much larger cam (and smaller lsa) and provide superior idle quality and driveability. Somebody tell me I am being irrational.

Yes, but I can still use an air filter and a simple MAF tune on this one. I wanted something different also, something nobody else has.
