The 1969 Mustang GT is actually bit more rare than a 1970 Boss 302 since Ford built only 5396 GT Mustangs in 1969 and 7013 Boss 302's in 1970. The GT was kind of a lame duck package in 1969 because Ford introduced the Mach 1 package of which they built 72,458.

Lot#973 - 69 Mustange GT Fastback - red - 390 engine, looked very very clean....standard GT rims with trim ring and center caps - $50,000!
Heck, I think a 70 Boss 302 went for only $62,000.
Also, the 1969 Boss 302 cars always bring more money than the 70 model because Ford only built 1628 of them in 1969.
Having said that I would still take the 70 Boss over the 69 GT any day.
