      Hello Everyone Newbe here

Whats up all you Pro-Tourers. My name is Mason. I just stumbled on this site the other day and I have been looking around checking things out, liking what I am seeing. I have big plans for when i get the car of my dreams a 1969 Pontiac GTO. I hope to be purchasing one in the near future when I have the money and when I can find one that i can fix up and make my own Pro-Touring Goat. I have big plans for it.

Engine: All Pontiac IA2 block w/cnc lightening, All Pontiac Tiger street heads, forged internals(Brand and specs tba), EFI
Looking for around 500-600 RWHP all backed with a 5 or 6 speed manual(brand tba)

Suspension: Front. Global West upper and lower tubular control arms, QA1 coil-overs, Other components tba.
Rear. either Full Global West or Hotchkis components and QA1 rear coil-over conversion.

Wow I thought I had alot of this stuff figured out but as you all can see I am still in the planing stages of this project that I havent even started. If any of you guys or gals have any suggestions for me they will be gladly appreciated.

      Welcome,
Great idea for a project, it has been done a few times before as you probably know. So you can get some good ideas from those projects as well.
My dad had a '69 Judge back when it was new and he will always be known to some as "the guy who had the Judge."
You can't beat the mystique of the old goats!
Keep us updated on your project please!

Always glad to see another Poncho fan.

If you're looking to be different and be the envy of the muscle car world, have to you considered instead of the IA2, going with a Ram Air V engine?

Would take some time and money to collect the parts but they are out there. I've seen 3, in cars. Sweet engine

I don't know where you are located at or how much of project you are looking for but I know of a sleepy classic car junkyard burried in the mountians of Virginia that has several Goats, a couple of 69s as well. I even found a '70 Judge there.

      A great place.

Good Luck let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

      Welcome!

Once you drive a Pontiac and experience all that torque you'll know why we love 'em. The '60s and '70s Pontiacs just have so much style.

      Welcome aboard,
68's and 69's are nice cars. Roger's GTO is bada$$ enough to inspire a hybrid owner burn their car and go PT. You can't go wrong with a GTO.
Do me a favor please and DON'T put a Chevy engine in it.

      Good luck.
