rear wheels for 70 Chevelle?

What is the widest you can go on the rear of a 70 Chevelle and with what back spacing? Thanks in advance.

11" is as much wheel an A body will swallow without frame rail/mini tub work. I run 6" of b/s although 6.25 would work better for me.SEE HERE

I'm using a 17x11 315/35 combo on my 71 w/ 6.2" b/s they fit perfect. BTW, mine's a coupe not an elky.
