Well, all I can think is mass exposure. A lot of people that are easily influenced by what's cool watch rap videos. If it gets a sale, what does GM car if six months or a year later it's on a used car lot because it's no longer cool to the person owning it.

I'm sure GM brass kept a real close eye on it. It obviously didn't move from where it was at in the video. Maybe GM execs thought it would bring more credibility to it and gain some sales from the "Hip-Hop" demographic.

Well, after watching that video, I can honestly say that I appreciate 13" Dayton's with hydraulics over Donks anyday. The only saving grace of the video (besides the cars with "normal wheel sizes and ride heights) was the flag girl for the drag race.

In my best attempt to be an internet rapper...
You will have to just use your imagination since I can not write music, nor sing this online, but the bam at the end of each sentance is the rapper bang.

cause Bling was just not his Thing (BAM!)
He wanted a Camaro as his new Car (BAM!)

came to break things up just lika' twix
seeing new camaros topless with tiny chicks
out of the speakers tunes blaring loud playin Stixx.
Lil Venomous typed how lame the video was
Rap just aint my thing, so neither was bling, cuz
just seems like a shame to see what chevy does.
thank god i got Venom cause thats just what i love.
will they stoop to level of donk, box, and bubble?
could alienate some of the market and start all kinds of trouble?
but either way we will be heading to chevrolet quick fast on the double.
to break bank and piss off the wife and happy home a pile of rubble.
Now i cant wait til 2000 and 9, to see how many people fall in line
but im happy with mine, a 67 strait outta time
and spend my money on it to handle a steep decline.
because thats what my wallet does when pro touring is on my mind.
so forgive me fellas if i DO sound down.
id love to ride on twenty twos, stock in down town.
Im from A.T.L home of that southern sound around.
