      Official press release here; http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/04/c...detroit-early/

Damn thing was born to be a convertible. Absolutely beautiful.

I actually got to see the real thing in person a few weeks ago over at Design Center. It's even better looking in person.

No way, you can not get on a waiting list for another one until you get back on the one you already have, it's an unspoken rule. We are afraid you would just disassemble the new one too and we know your garage is just not big enough for two projects.......

Like the car but not the windshield frame. I guess I'm used to seeing the body color on all past models.

Also, 2010? Come on GM said they'll have hydrogen cars on the road by then. Doesn't make any sense.

No kidding! If they don't get their ass in gear the company will be dead by then. Afterall they are Americas leading car company at sucking ass.

Uhh, no...that would be Ford. And as far as getting our asses in gear, I believe we are already doing that. The Camaro is not going to "save" our company (not that it needs saving, mind you). Our most important products are just seeing the light of day (The 900 truck platform, the Acadia, Outlook, Enclave. And cars such as the Aura and new Malibu. We just have to hope our contract talks go well this year. We're doing fine, and will be a force in the years to come.

Tony....if we don't do a hidden headlight option than it's a safe bet that some aftermarket company will do one as a bolt on replacement, much like Roush does with those new fascias for Mustang.

Well I hope you guys don't let that happen. It'd be a perfect nod to the original camaros. The photos shops in Hot Rod look perfect.

Im a hard top man but Id sure dont mind looking at that convert.

The after market should be looking at these pics hard. First thing that needs fixed are the punny side mirrors. They dont look right at all.
Nothing says "I built this" better than tool marks and dykem blue..

      Thanks for the pics!

This thing is sweet. I agree on the mirrors. too samll. Also not sure a bout the console gauges. The seats will definitely be used in years to come as popular PT convertible transplants. I can't describe all the things I like about it.

Nineball, that last "Cars" pic at the end is hilarious.
