500 Caddy questions
Being new to nothing other than a Chevrolet engine I have a few simple questions.
In my first post a few members suggested staying caddy and going with a 500 sounds like a great idea to me. I have found a website that specializes in 500CI caddy engines "Cad Company" Is fuel injection a problem? I went to a few websites like Jegs and Sumitt racing and didnt really see any fuel injection units that would work?
Also I found a adapter that you an use to stick a 700R4 behind it what would be a general idea $$ wise to build a strong eough tranny. I dont want nothing to crazy just trying to build a good relaible cruiser that will hae lots of power.
Thanks
Joey

I will bite..
Imho, a Cad 500 will eat a 700 tranny alive! Heck, stock they produce 550 T so go from there.
I don't know about EFI so can't offer any advice, sorry..
