      It's a really nice vette and I already have some vids of it

      I got them from that guys homepage over an year ago. The site unfortunately went down last year and I don't have the address anymore...

      Can't wait to see a new video of it (I hope you are pushing it a little)

      Have you found his old website yet, think his name was Steve or something, he had a build up website, with more then 30 pages with lot's of tricks and info on that beast.

      Eh what was he thinking when he did the rear tir/wheel combo? Those tires are too narrow for the wheel.

      I did a little searching and found that his name is Steve Kamis and the car is called "Project Insane Asylum".

      I don't know when Andrew Distad bought it though or do I have everything wrong and he is the original owner...

      Christer, that's correct. It's my understanding that Kamis's business fell on hard times and he had to sell the Vette. Andy picked it up sometime this summer and will be selling it at the BJ auction.

      After I found out this car was local, I figured I should check it out in person and take some pics. Eye candy is always good. lol I took some video of it in the driveway, but we couldn't take it out on the road (yet!) because there is a minor issue with the alternator bracket. Once Andy replaces it, we'll be taking it out for some high speed fun.

      I watched steves build up o the corvetteforum a few years ago,alot of people gave him a hard time,i think its a great car.
