What do you suppose would happen??
What would happen if a person were to modify a stock or aftermarket TPI intake to accept a carb.
Just for giggles

11-30-2006 #2They would try and sell it on Ebay. Ive seen it done around the web but havent seen one run. Im sure it wouldnt be terrible.
Id consider it to be a tunnel ram when considering Cam specs and stuff like that because of the long runners.Nothing says "I built this" better than tool marks and dykem blue..

12-20-2006 #3It would run like doo. TPI intakes are only designed to carry air, not atomized fuel. My guess is that the fuel would drop out of suspension and puddle, causing all sorts of driveability problems, if not outright plug fouling. I won't even go into how bad the fuel distribution would be...
