The Megasquirt computer will control a transmission with the new General Purpose Input Outout (GPIO) board they are working on. The first code is designed specifically for the 4L60E trans. As others have said, it will still require at least a throttle position sensor, but I don't think you will find anything more reasonably prices than Megasquirt components. I don't think the system is past testing yet, but it will be soon. I plan to use this to paddle shift a 4L60E.
