      Truck information question

      Hello,
Where can I find the specs on a 1994 chevy blazer/tahoe?

The truck is a 6.5L turbo diesel, automatic, and red and grey.

Does anyone know if the transmission is the 4l60, 4l60e, or 4l80e?
      David

I may be wrong but Ive never seen anything that is full size with a diesel newer than late 80s/early 90s that had anything other than an 80E (not counting manual trans equiped trucks of course).
GMC Syclone (currently wrecked thanks to the typical rubber headed VA driver not paying attention to his red stop light...oh and he didnt have insurance either)

I think that they came with both 60E and 80E...the 60E has 16 trans pan bolts and the 80E has 17. I have a 92 Full-Size Blazer with the 350 and it has a 700R-4.

Deisle Is going to be a TH400 or an 80

Other than that get under the truck and look at the pan
an 80 looks like a th400 with a little different shap at the back of the pan

      David,
Look in your glove box where your service parts identification label is and look at the codes. Your ride should have a 4L80E (code MT1), if it's a 6.5 Turbo with an automatic.

      To everyone,
      Thanks.

      Tubed,
I will check it out. Aww haa! Service Parts Identification 6 rows over + 3 down= MT1...Are you sure this means 4l80e? Update at 11:13: chevy agrees with you...Thanks

      Madspeed,
I hope it has the 60e or 80e
