      Just joined

I decided to start a new project car since my last one didnt work out (I think the car was jinxed!). My new project is a 1972 Pontiac LeMans 2dr Hardtop. I've had a 1971 LeMans before and I love these cars. So after selling my old one several years back I have another.
It's going to start off as a nice looking driver. Then I will add suspension upgrades as I go along. Main thing is too get all body and paint work and major drivetrain done in 6 months before I move back to south FL. It will be a task but I think I can get it done since the car is in really good shape to start with. Hope to get to know some of you guys along the way. BTW are there many members in south FL?

Welcome to the forum. That souinds like a sweet project and a very doable timeline considering the car is in good shape.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Welcome, you can definitely glean some good info here to help you with your build. There are some other Lemans owners that post here, as well as several GTO guys. Check out my cousin's '69 Goat sometime, he posts as "Peacemaker" and has some nice pics in his PT Garage.
It is going to be a blast tooling around south FL when you get that thing done!!

Will do. Need a decent day to take some pics but I will. I need a bunch of before shots anyway.
