      Newbie from Canada - anyone building anything like this??

      grew up going to short track stock car races......always thought they'd make a hot street car.......just built a 40x50 garage over the summer and just purchased a 69 Chevelle project car.....want to build it like the pics below using used stock car parts....big brakes,big tires on all 4, mild cage, quick change etc......anyone on here doing anything like this......heres some pics of the flvour I want to capture......my new garage is in the pics as well as a 69 street car I built in 1985......cool site!!!..............doug

      Nice garage and welcome. I think you will find most people are building their cars in a similar manner to that of a stock car. The difference is everything tucks under the car and looks matter since afterall they are still street cars.

      that looks like a blast!!! 99% of these cars never see a track unless you count the freeway. (mine included )
