I think if you want your horn to work right, you'd have to leave it in. Any directions with your wheel?

      billet steering wheel and horn

Hey there, did you ever get your horn to work with billet steering wheel? I have the adapter for a 67 camaro coupe but I can't figure out the wiring under the horn button? Any help?
