      rear seal options

      I know its possible to install a 2 piece seal style crankshaft into a late model chevy block by using an adaptor kit, but can you go the other way around? I've got my numbers matching block in my nova that I'd like to keep, and while its out i've been strongly temped to make it a 383. If I'm buying a new crank anyway, I was thinking that if it was possible to make a 1-piece crank work, I might end up with fewer oil spots in my driveway a few years from now. Does anyone make adaptor kits to accomplish this?
