Well with NO prior laps and never been on an auto-x corse before in my life also with a 20yr old completly stock suspension GN, I done a 74.1sec. I don't think that is too shabby considering the surcumstances. I'm possitive that givin more laps I would have improved that for sure.. What was your time? Scot w.

I was just kidding. Actually I got stuck working the booth that day. I'm sure that my times wouldn't be so great. I've only wheeled through the cones once, but it was a lot of fun. I plan on taking my Chevelle to a few next year. Think you will do anymore?

What was your drag time in the video ? My buddy has just got his GN together and he has almost the same stuff as you except he is still running the stock re-programmed computer with a translater on the MAF and has drag radials on the stock GN wheels. He is bummed that it is so late in the year to go try runs at the local strip and would like to know what yours ran.
Way to go on smokin' that GS !!

On that set-up in that video, I was also running the stock computer/ translator plus / extender extreme chip/ LS1 MAF and only 21lbs boost with M/T drag radials. I fought traction all day and on that run it ran a 7.52 @ 92mph in the 1/8th with alot more left in it. The new combo is in the works now and will be ready come spring....good luck on your buddys car!! Scot w.
