Tire Porn!!!!
Just got my wheels in thanks to "Newstalgia" Wheels...bought the tires seperate, from Jegs.
These are the Billet Specialties "Fast Lanes" 17x8 w/ 4" BS fronts & 17x11 w/ 6" BS rears
'69 Firebird Twin Turbo SBC 400" Blow-through
9.80 @ 141 w/ 1.88 60-ft..... on 17's
9.21 @ 153 w/ 1.45 60-ft..... on PUMP GAS
8.60 @ 164 w/ 1.46 60-ft..... on RACE GAS

LOL ya it does.....try not to drive her in the rain though, although i've been caught a few times this season ;)
Slow & steady keeps her straight ...u get used to the horns blaring, just give the radio a little touch more :D

A friend of mine runs those, F1-R Procharged Mustang. They didnt help.

just running a "general tire" my friend gave me, 245/45/17.
GBody when the track opens, i'll let ya know how it goes....i'd like to go 9.9999 on these drag radials...
My buddy has a single turbo '91 Mustang, has gone 1.51 60' and 9.75 @ 145 on the 275/60/15 Hoosier drag radials.
