Here are some pics of recent work I have accomplished.

Last night I made a mount for the vintage air heater. After some thought I decided this would be the best way to remove any stress from the firewall and stiffen it at the same time.

Here is a pic of the heater mounted and the close-out I made. This way I can run the heater hoses hidden through the passenger fender.

Here is a pic showing my version of the DSE select a speed, and custom mounting for my C5 master and clutch master.

And here you can see the gas pedal I fabbed up. I used a 4th gen pedal and started cutting. It took some time to get the geometry close, but it will still need an adjustable stop so I don't plant the pedal to hard and stress the firewall. You can also see the clutch pedal position switch bracket, this is needed for the pcm to anticipate the position and for cruise control release.

Believe it or not I want to take this thing on the Power Tour, so the thrash has begun. If I make it the car will look rough, but then I think a road rat ( my version of a rat rod ) will be kind of different.
