      MINNEAPOLIS Restoration Shops?

does anyone have a few names of shops to talk to?

I guess it depends on your budget, if more high end:
      Snik's in Mason City, IA
      Burman - Lakeside Rods, Iowa

Check this one out, one man show, very, very nice product, probably really affordable:

Fast Lane Rod Shop - Dave Lane/owner
      Later - Craig

'70 Chevelle (in storage now, probably will never be back on its wheels again!)

      Check this place out:

I've been there and I've seen their work. That '59 El Camino they did is stunning.

      thanks for the ideas.

i met with Dan at Precision yesterday for awhile. what an incredible operation. i had no idea we had a facility of this caliber here. the projects they are working on are so incredible.

i will consider very carefully whether or not i will have them do my work; the trade-off being how much i want to spend and if this is the appropriate project to restore to that level.

Scott- i think i saw your LeMans GTO on their top shelf? if i recall, he said that was for your magazine.

Ya - Did you see the Schwartz chassis there too? It's over on the side, waiting for some suspension goodies...

Dan's a good guy...the work is good and they can do it all there. His metal bender is one of the best I've seen.
