It's almost fitting that on the day that it is leaked Pontiac will be shut down...my Pontiac comes to life!
About 2 months shy of the 3-year anniversary of the build.....IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!
Tonight we ran the engine for the 1st time on my freind Kurt's home built test stand. We ran it for about 15 minutes and it ran right at 175 degrees with 50 psi of oil pressure at idle.
The crappy movie below is taken from my phone, IT SOUNDS MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! The carb was custom built by a friend of mine that specializes in custom built holley's and the thing is nasty. It combines holley and demon-like qualities and has a hair trigger with absolutely no hesitation.

DSE tubs, Air Rides Airbar Rear susp., CPP Tubular CA's w/Shockwaves, Unisteer Rack&Pinion, RS Hideaways, Polished calipers, drop spindles, 4wheel disc, Be Cool rad, 18" Coddingtons Junkyard Dogs w/12"wide mod on rears, BFG KDW's 335/30/18 & 245/40/18 fronts. 383 Stroker, Edelbrock Vic Jr Heads and Manifold, lunati cam solid Roller, Pro-Magnum Roller Rockers, Demon, MSD Dist, 6AL, Thorely Tri Y ceramic coated headers. Converted to 68 dash. Moser narrowed 12 bolt and fitted for Airbar.
