      99 Camaro 12 bolt

How wide is 99 Camaro rearend... I found a aftermarket 12 bolt out of a junkyard. I think it is a Moser unit- posi with 4.10 gears-aluminum yoke and brake set up... $850.00 It sound cheap...
I was thinking about buying it and chopping the mounts and narrowing it for my '69.

I'm not sure the width, but that is a deal. The moser 12 bolts for fourth gens start at around $2,200.

      current cruiser: "The green machine"

'70 Impala 4drht, 26K original miles, 2" drop springs and large swaybars, drives pretty good for a land yahct in the middle of an ls1 swap, but thinking about changing directions to a duramax diesel swap.

A new Moser for a first gen Camaro is $1900. The one that you found is about 4 inches too wide, but you might be able to use it with Corvette wheels or something like that. A first gen Camaro rear end is 60 inches wide over all.

a 4th gen rear is 59 3/4 housing flange to flange, not sure with axles.

69 Keith , is that rear still available?
