Tranny question

Tranny on my truck has been acting up. Has fluid but doesn't go into gear, feels like neutral when put in reverse or drive. Eventually goes into gear but slow and feels bogged down. Bought the truck a few months ago, is TH350. Filter and gasket changed a few weeks after i got it and added fluid. Would it be best to rebuild it or buy one? Currently in storage until i get time and $ to do anything. Have many other ?s but will see if they can be answered in existing threads.
