Who's in Jersey? I'll be there for X-Mas

I don't know who's in the area but between Christmas and New Years I will be in New Jersey. I will also be in New York for at least one day.

Maybe some of us could hook up?

Larry, you don't want to be up there at that time of here. You want to be down here doing some fishing or something. :icon996:

      Larry,
Call me. We'll hook up. Christmas in NYC is very special. Very cold but very special. Rockefeller Center is a must see and we'll take you to Lombardi's downtown on Spring Street for some REAL pizza. Email me with the dates of your trip and I'll set something up.

Larry, it would be great to meet you. I live about 10 minutes outside New York City in Jersey and we should definatly hookup. Lombardi's is the spot for pizza or grab some Gray's Papaya King Hot dogs in the village, nevertheless you will not starve. Some serious street racing in Hunt's point in the Bronx too.. But touch base with me and we can take a ride to my buddys shop in Tom's River lots of nice cars, mostly street/strip drag cars but very nicely done and fast...

Cool, I'll be in touch guys once I have dates nailed down. I'd love some real pizza too. This will be my third trip out that way. I really do enjoy it and love the snow. I don't get to enjoy it very often. I'm sure it's not fun if you have to deal with it all the time but 2 or 3 days every couple of years is fun.

      Thanks all!!!

Scott, I'll call Ralph in a day or two. He might be up for a meeting. He's having some serious computer trouble. That's why he has not spoken up yet.

Hey Scott, sorry for the late reply. My buddies shop is off route 9 near Lakewood, I think its called Lakewood Industrial park or something. I will be there all this weekend if you feel like checking it out. I'm taking the Camaro down and my other friend is driving his BAD 68 W30 442. Let me know and I'll give you my cell so we can hook up and I can get you better directions. Theres always some nice stuff there, and he's a good guy to get work done.

      Pete,
If you know where Seaside heights is, then its a little south of there, exit 74 on the garden state parkway. I knew i saw those pics awhile ago and i really like your car. Something different.

      Rob,
I'll definately see if I can make it up there. Lakewood isn't that far from me at all. What kind of work does your friend do at his shop, because I'd probably be interested.

Sorry guys, as Larry mentioned I've been offline for a few days with computer trouble.

I'm in for a get-together. Larry, give me a call when you get a chance.

Scott, he's in the "Ocean County business park", right off rt 9 north near lakewood. His main talent is engine building, but everything is done there, fab work, tranny, rears , suspension, etc... he also does the regular stuff like tune ups etc to pay the bills. If you want to stop by and check out the shop let me know. I was there all weekend.....Nice little vacation. now its back to work and all that fun stuff. Cut and paste the link at the bottom to check out some of the cars that have come out of there.. He has the 68 firebird, 428 poncho with a Jericho, mini-tubbed, 10.20 @ 130 or something like that no juice....pulls the whels pretty good

Wow! I never new realized that we have a good number of Tri-State members. We should plan something for the spring as well.

Any other members from the Tri-State area out there? Please check in.
