12 bolt, multi leaf springs, and front disc brakes.

Off subject but getyo are u sellin your car? I saw it on craigslist. Someguy was ragging on it saying u wanted to much for a non running 69. I responed with equal hate by informing him of the amount of time and money it takes to get ur car to that point. I still havnt even seen it and i know its worth that much!

All manual SS '69s had 12-bolts. From doing some research, they made a handful of automatic ones with the 10-bolt. But, all of them had the multi-leaf and front disks. They also had a quicker turning steering gearbox

      SS/12bolt

If there is one thing that is absolute it is that nothing was absolute. I always thought that all SS had front disk brakes and 12 bolts but maybe not. My car is a very early norwood car (vinN507007) and came with rear antenae and 68 spoiler(69 spoiler would hit the antenae). I read where this was done and the hole for the antenae was definitely factory but "experts" have said no way.

Yes and no. I got most things settled. both my front and rear sway bar are broken in one way or another! Yesterdat my starter gear slipped off the starter and into the bellhousing. I was unaware of where it had gone and i had to get my car home so i bump started it. The gear got thrown around and ended up going through the bellhousing creating a 4x6 gapping wound. So now shes down but ur welcome to come check her out any day u got time.....

Back then, the dealerships did alot of add ons and customizing. You could basically buy any car set up the way you wanted. Your car might not have had a spoiler on it, and the dealer it was purchased from could have added it.

Thats why you see some non-restored Z28s with stripes that go underneath the spoiler, and some with the stripes that end at the bottom of the spoiler and do not go onto the deck lid. Several dealers added those spoilers on top of the stripes.

strangely, my '69 doesn't have an antenna hole at all. Still has original sheetmetal also. No body work or fill-ins where the hole would be either.

The camaro research group has documented many cases of SS350 cars which were equipped with 10-bolt rearends. These are predominantly powerglide equipped cars.
