Snowblower Tune Up And Questions?
Well its getting to that time of year again and need to get the snowblower set and ready to go. I never worked on small engines before and since I am always looking to expand the limited skills I have I figured I would give my hand a try at tuning up my snowblower. I know there must be a bunch of you out there that have done this so any tune up tips you can throw my way would be great.
I have an ARIENS ST824 which about 10-12 years old. Any manuals, diagrams, etc would be appreciated. I figured I would change the oil, spark plug, check the wear on the belts, but what about other things like tuning the carb for proper operation, and this thing they call the FRICTION DISC?? Any step by step procedure I could use to systematically tune it the right way? Something tells me New England is gonna be hammered this year. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
