      building an on line store

Ok guys,We need your help. Can anyone from here build and maintain an online store. We had a friend start one,But I guess he just gave up.How much should this cost? I think this is some thing we need to do. Seems that the most common thing we hear from are customers is ( I didnt know you sold this or that).Fact of the matter is we have acces to just about any parts you could come up with. And we can usually beat jegs and summits price. We just bought MSD new street fire dist. This sells at jegs and summit for 149.99 WE SELL IT FOR 138.95.I think we just need to get the word out. Thanks for your help. Tim

Have you thought of just setting up a store at eBay?? Pretty cheap and the maintenance is automatic (except for you putting new products in the store). The payment mechanism and all that stuff is already set up.

If I were to start a store, I think I'd start there...

You can go with a website provider that allows you to build, host, and has eCommerce capabilities for as little as $20 a month. Here are a few options but do your own homework:

      www.homestead.com
      www.citymax.com

I use citymax for my sites (www.69firebirdbuild.com) and www.manromotorcars.com) , but I am not using their eCommerce capabilities. It is easy to setup and maintain. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can use these programs.

      Good luck,

      Phil
