You're on the right track, but, it really depends on your skill level, the type of paint you will be using(ex. metallic vs. solid vs. candy vs. pearls), the space you have available to you, whether or not you're going to have someone knowledgable helping you, or not, etc.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
