The 57 Came out great! I had the chance to look it over real good in the budnik booth. Really the nicest 57 I have ever seen!

Saw the car today. I was impressed with it as well as the Camaro they brought.

Well, the 57 is complete and I figured I would update and conclude the story as to how this project got it's wings.

First it was the the Ebay Find. (( www.ebay.com ))

Then the Rendering by Carter Hickman
      [email protected]

      Then the Builder
      Kenny Davis Hot Rods www.kdhotrods.com

      Then the Magazine Shoot

Then the One-Off Guages for Classic Instruments

Then off to the Interior Shop to see Tracy
      Recovery Room Interiors www.recoveryroomrodinteriors.com

      Then Back to Kenny's Shop

Now it's down to the details

      The race to Sema

Wait we have new Budnik Wheels www.budnik.com

The finished project heading into the trailer, yep this is the recovered trailer that was stolen only 3 weeks ago

Okay that is almost the end of the story.

As most of you know i'm not good at leaving well enough alone.

So were back at the 57 with a little more work.

Bob Thrash from Rad Rides is doing some sublte changes to the styling of the 57.

The first change is the Engine cover

      Back into the paint booth

Adding a little color to the back fin

      Now the Artwork

I just don't know how you could nail a 57 post any better than that.

That is the most perfect 57 Chevy I have ever seen. If my dad saw this, he would immediately buy one and probably hound me to build it like that.

      That's top notch work!

Like the changes, Bob does not seam to get the publicity that others get but he really makes cars shine. I know there are a lot of talented guys at Troys but you have to admit that you see his work stand out on most of the cars they produce.

Congrats, a real example is set with this '57.

This is not a criticism, just an observation. IMHO I liked the rear quarter panel area before it was painted that tan color. It made me look at the whole car and my eyes weren't drawn to one area.
