      drop spindles on '70 Nova

I am building a 70 Nova and would like opinions on front suspension. The car has 3" DSE springs in back with 20's. The front wheels are 18's. it will have a 396 big block for power. I need the front end really low. What is everyones opinion on drop spindles? I've heard pleanty of negetive about 'em. I think I may need a spindle and lowering spring to get this car as low as I want it. Any suggestions?

The ATS spindles would be your best choice.

Sound advice. Spindles with more than 1" of drop can cause a number of issues. I think you`ll find that ATS spindles combined with sat Eibach or Hotchkis front springs will give you a pretty low ride height. If you want it lower just trim the springs 1/4 coil at a time until it sits just the way you want it. Trimming will add a little additional spring rate but with the big block and a uber low ride height that`s probably a good thing. ;)
