      Moog Springs

I ordered some Moog springs from Classic industries for my 68 FB Conv that ended up not working for me. I would like a one inch lower then stock height for a good look. This will be more a weekend cruiser for the most part. I can trade in the springs I got with a diffrent set of Moog springs or a set of Hotchkis springs for no charge. I'm concerned the 2inch drop Hotchkis springs will be to low for my car.
Does anyone have a recomendation of a factory performance spring that I could use? I'm running KYB shocks, big sway bars and poly suspension.

I believe Eibach makes a spring that lowers the the car around 1 inch. I have heard they ride alot smoother the the Hotchkis 2" front springs as well.

How heavy is the engine in your car?
I have a good Moog spring number for a SB Camaro with fiew options.
Hotchkis coils would probably be ok but they are stiff, -twice as stiff as stock. If you are into corner carving and drive on smooth roads, they are OK but not so good driving on tar strips and potholes.

Eibach might be a good choice, but if you need to trim them, don't trim the wrong end.

I went the wrong direction with the whole front suspension set up. I have a 455 with the stock iron intake so its most likley is very close to big block chevy weight.
I have the whole car looking very stock. All the modifications are would be tuff to spot. A one inch drop sounds like a good compromise, the two inch is just to noticeable. The Eibach sound perfect. I may just bite the bullet and go that route. I just wanted to reclaim the money on the springs I bought from classic industries.
