      Pigeon Forge Yee!!!!!! Haw!!!!!!!!!

Well just chilling out from a day at the drags. So far this event has been what being a " Car Guy " is all about!

The cruise through the Smokey mountian national forest yesterday, for me, will be one of my favorite car memories. There is nothing like running with a bunch of hot cars through the mountians " hitting an apex ".

The drags today were great as well. I was lucky enough to make a run next to FUEL. I actually made it to the finish first. Of course he had some issue othewise I would have been smoked.

This group has a great bunch of car nuts, and I would like to thank Bill, Stevo', and Larry for a great event up to this point. ( I hope I have not forgotten anyone ) I'm sure tomorrows autox will be just a fun.

Now all I ask is what date will next year be? I have to bid my vacation sometime in October and this event is a must.

To all who could not make it, I highly recommend it even if you only come to spectate.

      Sincerely,

Bow Tie 67 A.K.A. Matt Altamore

P.S. The good lord willing next year I'll have vintage muscle ready to participate.
      Matt

Thanks Matt, great to meet you too! It is Sunday evening and this is the first time I have been online in four days. I am beat and everyone else is on the way home. Here is a musclerides.com link to some killer pictures a local member posted up. There will be many, many more pictures and some video of the event to follow in the next days but maybe this will wet everyone's whistle for now.

Everyone wore out the Extreme Autocross today and we will have some pictures of it too up soon.
Thanks everyone that came and played at Billy's place. Great as always to meet everyone and make new friends. I am ready now for the next one, just as soon as I get about two days of sleep.lol

I've got to jump in here and also thank Bill, Steevo, Larry, Malinda...and the whole host of others that we'll never know, but certainly do appreciate!! It was so cool just to meet all the guys. Matt, Darrin, Phillip, Allan, Brandon, Frank, Steve, Raymond, Bob, Mike, Frank, Lisa (ok, not one of the guys, but just as cool)...the list goes on, Oh wait, cant forget Jim (69RS), you're alright too!!

Just got home safe and sound (I wish I could say the same for all), and do look forward to next year. And Matt is right, come on down and enjoy the event's even if you dont bring a car or participate in the driving events. Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the wrong time to be part of the action. Participate in the commoradary, and if your nice, I know someone will offer to take you along for a ride (thanx Raymond).

      Thanx again to all!!

This weekend was the most fun I've had in a long time. Thanks to everyone that was involved in setting setting the event up.

Everyone that I met was just as nice as I'd hoped they would be.

I can't wait until next year!

No doubt, it was an awesome time! Perfect weather too!

It was great meeting you guys and hanging out. The caravan back up 75 was great too, nothing like keeping up the pace at a brisk 85mph for 5 hrs!

PS. Getting semi-lost out in the freakin' boonies was actually a good time! Thanks to Rubes for gettin' us back!

PSS. ProTouring70!! It was good meeting you Brent, and your buddy Wayne also. Glad that the starting problem wasn't too serious. I'll get you some video of the ahem,...traction testing.

Yup, it was awesome. As Jason said, good freindships building. If there is a sour note it is not having time to chat with everyone. There were a lot of people wanting to talk and that I would like to talk to, and not enough time seems like it can be given to anyone person without ignoring someone else unintentionally. So if it felt like I blew anyone off, it was not on purpose. And if you did not get one of the ride alongs in JustBringIt (Rubes and Lisa comes to mind), I will bring it back next year just to give rides! You 2 are first up!

All and all a total blast. Between the 2 cars we chocked up a couple hundred miles cruising, have a couple dozen time slips, scared the hell out of a few members in the JBI car (except David Sloan's 15 year old daughter that took the fastest 6.42@112MPH pass of the day, didn't shake her a bit). Even got a 8.30 out of the Duramax tow vehicle which hot laped a half dozen laps.

Really was bummed Prodigy broke and could not do the auto cross, but I guess we predicted it would kill the rear if we got stupid, and pulling up beside Bob's badd ass Cuda sure brought out the testosterone in Michael and made him stupid! that's my boy!, LOL! And to be honest, seeing how fast the auto X coarse was, combined with Michael's youth combined with Michael's lack of autocross experiance combined with Prodigy's stupid power, I admit to be relieved while disappointed we did not participate. Maybe we can get some auto X under Michaels belt and be ready next year. I know I cannot wait.

Bill, Steve, Larry, great job and thanks for letting us be a part of this killer event.

      Sincerly,
Frank, Lisa and Michael and Andrew
