Pics from Mid America Motorsports' corvette show
My father-in-law is a big corvette guru so he skipped work and we drove out to the Fun Fest that's being held in Effingham, IL over the next 3 days. Here are a couple of shots. Consequently, the one car I really came to see was not at the show ('63 Grand Sport replica), but one of the 108 vettes we saw on the way home happened to be a GS. Here are some favorites: Blk '69 w/ 427, C5 R, a nice ZO6, some '69 SCCA racers, last one is a rare '67 ZO6. Enjoy.

Some very nice 'vettes. What was the story with the '06 Z06? Just a body kit and hood on a Z06, or something more?

Ralph I've got nothing for ya. There was no owner nearby or details on the car. Sorry. Maybe someone else was there or will be there over the next 2 days and come across it as it wasn't in the outfield with all the other cars but rather right out front on the main drag next to the retail shop and 19 cent gas station.

Maybe it's the Blue Devil that's been rumored about so long? GM figured they'd throw everyone off by just parking it off to the side. LOL, we can dream, right?
