      Any British Bike Guys out there?

      My other motorized hobby is Brit Bikes - here is a BSA I recently picked up and cruise around the 'hood. The guy who built it did a great job, and than basically gave it away for $2500 - SCORE!

      The only experience I've had with British bikes was my uncle's '58 AJS Matchless (?). 500cc single four stroke, and I don't think he ever had a muffler on it. He would take us kids for a half hour ride (even climbed a few hills) and we would tingle for an hour after.
      Now that I think of it, he still has the damned thing.

      Sam,
      That is a very clean and nice looking bike. I bet the neighbors just love the open pipes .
      Here's a contact for ya if you need info or parts on your BSA. A guy by the name of Norm Wilding (originally from Essex, England) has a shop in Columbia Mo. and is now building specialty bikes & trikes there. Norm had a shop right next to ours in Kissimmee, Florida several years ago. He was always building something wild there (I always told him thats how he got his last name). He ran a T/F funny car for a few years and gave me a great opportunity to be part of his crew at the Gatornationals back in 1996 (That gave me a new found respect for the work the T/F teams do). If you happen to talk to Norm, tell him Jack Lott from Kissimmee sent you and said hi. Here is the link to his site;

      Hey Sam1. Are you on BritBikes forum? I either saw your ad for resale or saw the previous owners add. Looking for a late 60'2 - early 70's Triumph bobber hardtail right now. I have my eye on two. Great looking bike, liked the other in the BritBike ad also.
