      Chromers?

Can I get some recommendations on chromers. I have about a ton of trim that needs done(60 impala) also was hoping to have the same company fix some of the trim pieces also.

      Thanks

I just had a compnay in Tenn do a rear bumper for a 67 vette. They look fantastic. The company is Knox Custom Chrome. I had to search them out. When I called them to dicuss price and see how I liked them he proceeded to tell me they had been around since the 70s and often do mid year Corvette parts. I asked about a warranty on the work. His response was if you ever have a problem call me. Yeah they got my business on that alone. Most places said a year or two only. Oh and his prices were actually less than others.

I will check with my body man, with the chrome shop that does his work. He has 2 (1960 Impala's). Here is a few photos that took of the Blue 1960 Impala with an LS1, while it was getting some work done on it. Anyway, he is very picky on the quality of the chrome.

Just got back some bumpers ect this week from Advanced plating. Work looks good, the pot metal is some of the best i've seen. We had issues with the front bumper (some deep scratches that just didnt get enough att.) Called them up and they said no prob and are sending call tag to return. The chrome is clear with good depth...for the price I feel we got what we paid for.

Metal Brite in Dayton, OH. 937.278.9739, as for Mike Barr. I've done about $3k business with them. They're very careful with your parts and do show quality work.

I had my best luck with Ogden Chrome in Ogden Utah; prices were decent and they straightenned some stuff out and did repairs fantastic- worth the shipping for me.
