new old project..im serious this time

Well, year six of my build is approaching rapidly, and I think it is time to get some direction and finish this car. It is a 1966 mustang fastback that needs a name. I feel the time is right, I just opened the doors to my new shop, and am pursuing my dream of building full time. I only have a few build requirements. It will be a twin turbo 5.0 running a 5 speed transmission, and will be using my prototype suspension. The rest of the chassis is in the air…suggestions!!!!

I was thinking of running a hybrid backbone frame, roll cage but wanted to consult the genius here before I started to bend up anything or take out the plasma cutter. Sheetmetal needs some attention as well…possible flares and front/rear air damn? I would like to do this build like SN65 did it. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun giving input and the car turned out great because of it. So here is to the start of a saga. If you would like to see the car as it is now go to g-machine-performance.com/project.
      Until next time….

      haha, darn

Well, It is obvious that you guys want to see some pictures of where I am starting, and possibly a rendering of what it will be. I will have pictures for you tomorrow, and some progress on the body work/sheetmetal by next week. Until then, and input?

haha, I agree, I am not a fan of naming a car either, but it is a good way of identifying seperate cars in a forum environment such as this one. From here on out It will be call "The Car"
      I like it...

I would like to see what ideas and direction you go with this. I have a 65 coupe that I'm starting this winter.

Louie, I think you're the same guy I emailed a year or more ago about your suspension and chasis designs, but maybe not. Anyway, I was reading the "updates" on your page and took a look at the "products" pages since I was looking forward to seeing some of the components you've designed, but I only found CAD drawings. Do you have any pics of finished products or stats or info on suspension travel travel, bumpsteer, etc.?
