      Heater Core Change out

I lost the heater core in my '69 Camaro last night. It is a SB with tall valve covers. The heater core inlet/outlet is very close to the valve covers. I would like to move the inlet/outlet to gain more room around the engine.

Is it possible to switch over to a BB heater core and cover to move the inlet/outlet closer to the passenger side fender?

I also noticed that Rick's sells a A/C evap delete heater core cover. It also looks like it would move the inlet/outlet towards the passenger fender. I assume that it uses the SB A/C heater core?

      Any issues either method?

      Thanks,

Switching to BBC is very easy. Buy the heater hose plate and drill two holes. Then replace the heater core with a BBC one. You will have to modify the box a bit to fit the core correctly.

Thanks for the info, it will be nice to gain some room by the valve covers.
