      New guy with a cuda.

My first post here. I am building a 74' barracuda as a 70' cuda clone. I have installed the correct 70' front end and am in the process of installing the correct 70' tail panel.

As for power train, I have a viper T-56 that will go behind a stroked 360. I have both a 8.75 in the car and a dana 60 housing that I keep contemplating putting in.

My greatest accomplishment so far is putting together a complete wilwood brake system with a 13" 1.25 front rotors w/ full width SL6 6 piston calipers. A 12.19 4 piston kit is for the rear.

The car has 18x8 and 18x9.5 wheels with 235 and 275 rubber.

I hope by early to mid next year the car will be running. A trip out to Buttonwillow raceway for open track day will follow.

I would like to hear from other cuda owners on their projects.

nice to hear a fellow Mopar guy is hanging around here... sweet deal on the Cuda... you might want to go with the 8.75 - simple rear end swaps...

As of right now - I have a Stroked 440 in the works... an EFI system about 1/3 built, a Tremec 5-speed trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, 8 3/4 with 3.55 sure grip... planning on mini-tubbing next summer and going with a RMS coil over front end, cage it.....

as of right now most of these are dreams - I am going to college and working 2 jobs just to make ends meet... should have the stroker in by X-mas with the fuel injection though....
