New to board and PT (Pics)

Chimming in from Houston, TX. Have finally found which way I want to go with my truck project. I have a background in Drag Racing, and kinda gave it up to pursue other "Hot Rodding" endeavors, i.e. wife and kids. Seems like my trailer cars just weren't cuttin' the mustard entertaining the wife and kids. They wanted to ride and drive the cars too, so Its been about a year and a half, and trying to decide what to do and whalla, I figured it out. 1968 Pro Touring Style 1968 C10. Its a head turner in stock form, but I need a little more excitement in my life, so welcome to the wonderful road of Pro Touring. Any advice is always appreciated. I am not trying to win the Hot Rod Power Tour or anything, I just know that I like this style, and will take my project this route. Thanks, and looking forward to participating in this forum and getting my truck done. BTW, check sig for pics

Here's a pic I drew a few years ago when I really wanted to build a PT '68 Chevy truck... I still think it would be pretty cool to build one like this, but I'm sure I never will. (too many others I want to build too )

If you have it and can do it, do it. It is a cool idea and will look awesome.

BTW nice drawing. I draw and cars look like smooshed marshmallows!!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?
