      Seriously though, I am not getting into any shouting matches over which is the "best" street engine. I love the Pontiacs and there are some vicious beasts under the hoods of many arrowheads. My cousin has a 500hp 455 in his '69 GTO, and it's fast as heck, and looks awesome. I wasn't really saying the Pontiac engines are inferior either...more like most things from the factory could use improvement, that's all. That's why we're here, right?

      On the other hand, the BB Chevy engine has always been one of the most stout factory built engines, whereas the others (BOP&Caddy), can be built but tend to need more beefing up (read:$$$) in order to do so, with not as many great aftermarket parts available as the Chevys. But I am stating the obvious.
