Oh my..I didn't know that..I saw the little Stude truck.it was neat but nothing like the Willys. That is alarming. I have met the owner and he is a very nice man. He's having a bad ride. If that truck doesn't win early truck of the year, something is bad wrong. Are you telling me he's not even qualified for the truck finals? Maybe they're going to make him bring it to a few more shows to qualify. It is a good draw..maybe they think it's a little overdone..Good friend of mine Mike Hughes was in the great 8 at Autorama and won the Millwinders award in Houston, came to Columbus and didn't even get a pity pick. He was heartbroken. I know we all say this and that about awards, but grown men get their feathers ruffled just like little kids, probably even worse. Anyone that tells you it doesn't mean anything to him, is full of it more than likely. It is very rewarding for others to see your work and appreciate the finished product. I know you don't need their approval, but it does feel good knowing others appreciate your efforts.I know too many guys that have been jacked out of shape over their cars not getting picked. I've seen many act like spoiled brats. I've bit my tongue in the past, but on this Cuda, I don't think I could have taken another overlook. That shi** at Year One still infuriates me to this day.
